What color should I paint my lounge?

Posted by admin
CookieMonster asked:

I recently got to use my brother’s room for my lounge since he’s living with my dad now. I have a HUGE pink beanbag in there with a rainbow colored body pillow and a small green pillow with polca dots. I also have a yellow desk there with a matching yellow chair. There’s tan crapet and now the walls are beige. What colors should I paint the walls? It’s a pretty big space and all my friends hang out there. I want it to be colorful. Color ideas?

Because the lounge has mostly warm colors, red, pink, orange, yellow, and peach would be the best choice. One of those colors is also a good choice because that would make the color scheme analogous. You could also use a light blue that’s almost white. Also, since the furniture is yellow, it would clash if you painted the walls yellow as well. If you want to make the room feel bigger lighter colors are the way to go.

      i have many options..
#1 a grey-scale wallpaper, - a modern look. certain wallpaper is now popular.
      #2 a light, pale yellow.
      #3 a greyish purple-ish paint.
      #4 a creamy colour
      #5 pink.
      #6 purple
      hope this helps!
